NEWS – Changes to Lenah Links Market
Lenah Links will no longer be holding a community market at the Lenah Valley Community Hall. There will still be a market however – look out for the Valley Market at the Hall, the next one is on 28 November, 10am.
Instead Lenah Links will hold a produce market at the community orchard, St Johns Avenue, New Town. We’ll let you know the date soon.
Thanks to everyone for their support for our market over the past year, we hope to capture the same community spirit at the orchard – see you there!
September Market
This time we had cake stalls, plants, honey, jewellery, handmade cards and gifts, mosaic pots and knitted goods. The Hobart Games Society played again, and Ogilvie High School students served up afternoon tea out the back.
May Market
Lenah Links had its third market on 15 May 2010. Chris from Hobart Kitchen Gardens was there selling his organic seedlings. Bruce was showing off his electric motor bike, and the Hobart Games Society played cards and board games. We had our regulars selling jewellery, crafts and home made cards, as well as pre-loved clothes and kids toys. Ruth and Marguerite turned out a great afternoon tea and Gary entertained on the mike.
