An Invite to the St Johns Orchard Official Opening

Come along and help celebrate the opening of the Community orchard in St Johns Avenue, on Sunday the 26th of September 11:30am onwards. Hot drink and snack provided to all attendees. Everyone is invited – come and have a look at the progress that the orchard group have made, and the plans for the future. If you can, bring some herb cuttings for the meditation garden.

Pruning Time

We are pruning the fruit trees at the St Johns Community Garden this month, (Sunday 30th May, at 11:30am). Come along and learn some handy hints on how to prune stone fruits and plums. All welcome, new and old visitors to the orchard.
Bring your own secateurs, garden gloves a warming drink and snack.

Chooks for Sale

I have some black Pekin bantams for sale. They make good pets for small backyards are they are very docile and tame. There are two hens and three roosters.
