Power to the People

Have you been thinking about installing solar panels or a small-scale wind generator for your home? Powering your home through renewable energy not only reduces your electricity bills, but minimises your carbon footprint.

Expressions of interest are being sought for a Lenah Links community bulk purchase of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. By joining forces, we can negotiate with suppliers for a group discount to reduce the upfront costs.

To keep your costs down even lower, the Australian Government offers the Solar Credits scheme. If you install an eligible solar, wind or hydro renewable energy system, you can gain financial benefits from Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) linked to your system.

Where to from here?
