Making the community of Lenah Valley, New Town and surrounds more self-reliant, connected and inclusive.

Lenah Links brings together residents of Lenah Valley, New Town and surrounds to share ideas and take action in areas like growing our own food, low emissions transport, renewable energy, and caring for our local environment.

And best of all we’re getting to know our neighbours.

Lenah Links is a sub-group of the Lenah Valley Community Association. It is coordinated by what we call the Hubcap – not the most environmentally-friendly title but when you look at a hub and spokes model it makes sense.

The Hubcap is an executive of four people which makes the decisions on things like money, insurance and structure of the organisation. The ring around the Hubcap is the Hub which is the Hubcap plus coordinators of each of the working groups and whoever else is interested in helping out on things like the market, the website etc.

Our working groups are: Environment, Food and Garden, Energy and Transport.
